Recruiting efforts that stand out
My company is beginning a hiring frenzy. I work at a small company= I will be doing most of the recruiting efforts for technical and client-facing positions. Here’s my problem: Of course I love taking on new challenges and this task has been keeping me on my toes over the last week, but I’m not exactly “trained” in recruiting or any type of formal HR. Marketing a product or a company isn’t exactly the same thing as marketing an open job position.
I’m thinking that professional networking from LinkedIn and other online groups may be my best bet. Has anyone used LinkedIn groups to find or recruit for a job?
What creative recruiting solutions have you seen? What strategies does your company use? Any ideas to try?
